I got inspired by my mother who is a great cook.I like to have good food but I also want to know how it is cooked. I want to share some of the recipes that I have tried and tested at home.
I have travelled to many cities and so I came across many new recipes which I tried at home.
In Kanpur, where I did my graduation, the hostel mess served some new recipes and also I cannot forget the canteen snacks.
In Lucknow, where I used to attend coaching classes, the restaurents there at Hazratganj served some exotic recipes which were typical to the city of Nawabs.
In Mumbai, where I did software job for 2 years, I encountered Marathi style of cooking and various snacks like sev puri,pani puri,dahi puri, Kachhi Dabheli,Vada Pav and ofcourse the South Indian dishes like poha,sambhar,lemon rice,idlis,medu vada and dosa.
Some other cities from where I am inspired are Allahabad,Calcutta, Shimla, Srinagar, Jabalpur and Pune.
In this blog, I am collecting all the recipes here and each of them have been tried by me at home.
All the dishes are vegetarian.
